Mr. Cantrell took this case to trial where an eyewitness testified that the defendant ran over the victim twice with his car. Mr. Cantrell was able to obtain a not guilty verdict on the attempted murder, saving his client a life sentence in prison. The defendant was convicted of assault and was given probation with a term of house arrest.
